I dropped the ball today.

In my defense, I had a very hard and stressful day at work. Two big events scheduled way too close together without consideration for the time it takes us to clean the fucking theater. I wanted to slap the shit out of the woman responsible for this, especially since it's not the first time she's done it.

The best I could do was chant "Nam Myoho Renge Kyo" in my mind while working and grocery shopping...just to keep the irritation down. Didn't help with the exhaustion though.

I will be doing prayer-meditation tonight before bed though and, as far as I'm concerned, that counts. I'll record it tomorrow.

Worth noting though: Exercises like "fixed gaze" and "motionless" are REALLY difficult when I try them for their own sake, but I am able to do this more easily and for MUCH longer periods of time when framed within intent of sacrificial meditation.

It's amazing how much of a difference the actual intent makes!!

Oh, and...the Elvish thing is out. I investigated a bit online. Apparently, Tolkien never developed Elvish enough to speak fluently and casually and therefore allow me to design a banishing in that language. I'm a little saddened by that.

I did too. Haha. Funny that it was the same day for both of us.

I was at a lecture evening at Treadwell's working, and went to a friend's house afterward... but the discussion at Treadwell's was certainly very magickal and thought provoking. My life is becoming more and more magickal with all the people I am meeting, for sure!

I'm envious. I want to meet more magickal people too.

I am certainly blessed with that opportunity living in London.
